THE BEIJER FOUNDATION FOR PHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH was established at Uppsala University in 2014. The aim is to support young, promising researchers collaborating within the fields of medicinal chemistry and pharmacology, and to strengthen research in the development of new pain relievers, medicines for degenerative diseases, such as dementia, and novel drugs against inflammatory diseases.
